eliotargy,

I guess you have given two options of translation, but in the field of the translation should be only one of them. The other you must put in the remarks.
Anyway, the last option "You that I love" is not correct, it should read: "It's you who I love".
If you agree I can edit it. OK?

Lilian,

The sentence can be translated in a variety of ways. The siimplest meaning is "I love you".
"It is you that I love" translates into "
aisiteru no ha, anata desu yo".
To give the "right" translation requires the context.
I imagine the "aisiteru anata desu" being the title to a song, and really has no English equivalent.

If you don't mind dramati, I'm waiting for Ian's answer and don't worry too much, I will put it to a vote at the right time.

Thanks.

Hi Lilian,
Sorry to take so long!
My answer to Franck's question is under the original "Japanese" request.
The grammar of the request is strangely put, and so literally translated, it must be
(It) is you, the one (I) love
as in the answer to:
"Who is the one you want to marry?"
"You, the one I love."
It cannot be translated as
I love you
or
You are the person (one) I love
they would be
Ai shite iru
and
Anata wa watashi no ai suru hito desu / Ai suru no wa, anata desu

Thank you very much Ian.

I'll edit and validate it as:

"It's you the one I love."

I think Ian has hit the nail on the head.
Dare to kekkon siyou to omou n desu yo? Who do you want to marry then?
Aisiteru anata desu yo. I want to marry the one I love, you.
So there you have it. "Aisiteru anata desu" has no meaning out of context.
