Derefter efterlod de ham pÃ¥ jernbaneskinnerne, hvor et tog kÃ¸rte over hans livlÃ¸se krop. Under afhÃ¸ringen spÃ¸rger anklageren den ene dreng: "Hvad fik jer til det?" Efter nogle tavse Ã¸jeblikke lyder svaret: "Det ved jeg ikke." Siden livtidsdommen til de to drenge har sociologer og psykologer forsÃ¸gt at kulegrave drengenes opvÃ¦kst for at finde et svar. Der tegner sig et trist, forudsigeligt mÃ¸nster af to bÃ¸rn overladt til tidsfordriv i indkÃ¸bscenteret, med problemer i skolen og afvisende ligeglade forÃ¦ldre.

The only one I wasn't sure of was "early life" - I was guessing from the context, as I don't understand Danish.
