Fundacja SOS Bokserom
Domenę www.bokserywpotrzebie.pl użyczyła nam nieodpłatnie jej właścicielka, Monika Jaczyńska, by umożliwić nam poszukiwanie pomocy dla porzuconych bokserów.

S.O.S Boxers Foundation

Our adventure with Boxers began at different times, but it resulted in the same - great sympathy for those warm and sensitive dogs.
All of us somehow encountered the problem of pet homelessness and decided to start helping in the best way the Boxers at least - the best known and so easy to harm dogs.
We met while working for dogs of this breed in ‘Boxers in Need Foundation’, but in late spring 2008, acting independently, we all decided to move away from this organization. It was hard to remain idle in the face of the scale of animal homelessness in Poland, so during late summer and autumn 2008 we began to work intensively as a group of volunteers focusing on a webside ‘Boxer Adoption’. Domain www.bokserywpotrzebie.pl was handed down to us for free by its owner Monica Jaczyńska, to enable us to seek help for abandoned Boxers.

Hi Aneta,

"...,but it has borne the same fruit, what means a great liking for those warm and sensitive dogs."

This does not sound well. Perhaps: "It arised a great sympathy..." or something like that.

We had met each other working ---> We met while working

I can't understand your question, Lilly.
As I know the expression occurs in English, e.g. "My efforts have today borne fruit". It means: it brought a big effect/profit etc.

"It arised a great sympathy" already represents the result.
The line IMO, should read either:

"...but it has borne fruit - a great sympathy for those warm and sensitive dogs."
or
"...but it arised a great sympathy for those warm and sensitive dogs."

See what I mean?

Ok, I understand your stand, Lilly. The problem is that "...but it arised a great sympathy for those warm and sensitive dogs." doesn't exactly convey the source.
I translated: "but it has borne the same fruit, what means a great liking for those warm and sensitive dogs", because "ale zaowocowały tym samym" means that the "adventure" (from the previous clause) had the same(tym samym) result => "borne the same fruit" for every member of the foundation.
Maybe you wanted to say that I couldn't connect the expression "born fruit" with "the same". I can understand, but "it arised a great sympathy" is not exactly what we can read in the source..

What about:

"Our adventure with Boxers began at different times, but it resulted in the same - great sympathy for those warm and sensitive dogs."?
