Tu traducción serÃa casi perfecta si el español fuera hablado solamente en España.
En el resto de los paÃses hispanohablantes sonarÃa muy raro. El problema es el uso del pronombre "vosotros" y las inflexiones de los verbos para él.
TendrÃas que aclarar en las notas como serÃa en el resto del mundo:
"Hola Haile, me alegra mucho saber de ti, siento mucho nunca haber podido hacerles una visita. Espero conseguir hacerlo la próxima vez.

Nunca sé cuál 'variante' de Español utilizar cuando el solicitante no lo especÃfica.
Bueno, desde ahora voy ponerlas ambas si habrá mucha diferencia.
