De betrokkene levert geen voldoende bewijs van financiÃ«le middelen, noch bewijs van aankoop van travellerâ€™s cheques, noch een creditcard te gebruiken op het Belgische grondgebied gekoppeld aan een persoonlijke bankrekening met voldoende saldo.

- Uw bereidheid om de grondgebied van de lidstaten te verlaten vÃ³Ã³r het verstrijken van het visum kon niet worden vastgesteld.

- Er is niet voldoende garantie voor de terugkeer naar het land van woonplaats, vooral omdat de betrokken partij niet voldoende bewijs aanlevert van zijn / haar middelen van bestaan (pensioen, vergoedingen, huurinkomsten).

The second paragraph states DÃ©faut de preuves suffisantes de couverture financiÃ¨re du sÃ©jour Ã©tant donnÃ© que la prise en charge n'est pas acceptÃ©e. That has been translated as 'because the application has not been accepted, there is not sufficient proof'. When I was translating this, I found that this does not seem to make sense from a logical point of view. Could it be that the meaning, in this case, should be my alternative below? the lack of sufficient proof has lead to the application not being accepted Thanks for your input! 	Francky5591 Numri i postimeve: 12396	Yes Lein, it sounds logical, but I must say the French version is badly expressed, with this "Ã©tant donnÃ© que" that is translatable by "given that" which I think is corrupting the meaning. But undubitably the English version you gave is the right one, it's "no sufficient proof => application rejected". The way it is formulated in French would let this meaning be a bit confusing. But the following sentence confirms this meaning as it is more explicit about the lack of proof ("L'intÃ©ressÃ©e n'apporte pas de preuve de moyens financiers, ni bordereau nominatif d'achat de chÃ¨ques de voyage, ni carte de crÃ©dit utilisable sur le territoire belge liÃ©e Ã un compte en banque personnel suffisamment approvisionnÃ©." so these are the reasons why the application is not accepted.
