WHAT IS KNOWLEDGE?
The aim of research in all its fields is to accumulate knowledge. Although the question of the contents of the term 'knowledge' is, or at least should be, subject to discussion in various disciplines, the social sciences evidently enjoy the reputation of being less unanimous about its meaning than any other discipline.
