I understand here as "takımdaş olduğumuzu daha yeni öğrendim, helal olsun sana (niye önceden söylemedin)". it seems like an expression of reproach to me. However, I think "good for you" is not a good translation of this expression. Suggestions (of reproach) are welcome though

That's fine with me, but remember that I'm not a native speaker of Turkish, so if you thought there was a tone of reproach in there, maybe we should consider that.
