Polyamides (PA), high-performance, for severe environments; high-temperature glues; typically applied at over 200 °C, but can degrade and char during processing. In molten state can somewhat degrade by atmospheric oxygen. High application temperature. High range of service temperatures, generally showing adequate bonding from -40 to 70°C; some compositions allow operation to 185°C if they do not have to carry load.

Hi kafetzou,

"High application temperature." What kind of sentence is this?

I think it means, "It can be applied (to a surface) at a high temperature."

I finished the job but such a difficult text is it that I couldn't translate well.

Yüksek performanslı, son derece kötü ortamlara elverişli olan Poliamidler (PA), nam-ı diğer ısıya dayanıklı tutkallar, genellikle 200 °C’nin üzerinde sürülür, ama işlem sırasında ayrışabilir ve karbonlaşabilir. Erimiş durumda atmosferik oksijen yüzünden kısmen ayrışabilir. Yüksek bir sıcaklıkta yüzeye sürülebilir. Yüksek çalışma sıcaklıkları, genellikle -40°C’den 70°C’ye kadar yeterli yapışkanlık gösterir; bazı birleşimler, eğer yük taşımalarına gerek yoksa işlemin 185°C’ye çıkmasına izin verir.

Also, what is "high range of service temperatures"? And, the text sounds strange without connectors.

Or, do you think I should give up handling it?

I think your translation is good. Wherever there is just a noun phrase and no verb, I think you can assume something like "there is" (= var/bulunur).

Sorry - I see that my comment above was not that helpful. I would read that as "Can be used at a high range of service temperatures," although I'm not sure what a "service termperature" is.

Thanks a lot It looks cool, I'll use it in my essays.

There is one more thing I forgot to say. Can "silicon" be used instead of "glue"?

1) What are you going to use in your essays? You should not write sentence fragments - they don't belong in academic essays.

2) No - silicon is not glue. Silicon is usually used to make things slippery, whereas glue is used to make things stick. On the other hand, some glues contain silicon, such as bathtub caulk.

P.S. Aren't you going to submit your translation?
