The English is correct, but might be better formulated if you put:
"When I come, what shall I buy for you as a present".

| handyyNumărul mesajelor scrise: 2118 | ''When coming, what will I buy for you as a present?=gelirken sana hediye olarak ne alayım'' ı think here both meaning and the grammar are not correct.
''When coming, what do you want me to buy as a present for you?'' ˃˃ that's also not correct. here an adverbial participle clause is used, but as far as ı remember, we can use these participles only if the subjects of the two linked sentences are the same. yet here the subject are not the same so it would be better to say it like:
''when I come, what do you want me to buy for you as a present?''

That's about the best bet!! I'll edit it this way.
If there are no other problems I'll validate it quickly.

I'm afraid I don't speak Turkish. Can you explain your message to me in English?

| smyNumărul mesajelor scrise: 2481 | Hi all,
Tantine this is unfair of you being left in curiosity about what these people are saying, so I'll just explain what has been said
Andorra says the translation is not far away from the original text but it could be done better for her opinion and parisp says it would be better saying "When I come" ..... I couldn't understand the rest of her message very well .
my opinion: "What do you want me to buy for you as a present when I'm coming?"
Best regards! |

| ChantalNumărul mesajelor scrise: 878 | I think smy her suggestion is better. In Turkish often the words are in a different order from English. This is why 'when I come' is at the beginning instead of at the end. |

| smyNumărul mesajelor scrise: 2481 | Whose suggestion you mean Chantal? I would translate it this way because it's "gelirken" not "geldiÄŸimde" and don't you think it sounds awkward to put it at the beginning in English -though it wouldn't make any difference in Turkish to put it at the beginning in this case-?. |
