The importance of colour, in a person's ability to establish contact with the outside world, the functioning of memory, and the ability of the brain to fulfill its duty to learn, is great. The reason for this is that a person makes connections between events and places, and between people and objects chiefly via their outward appearance and colour. Sound and touch are not sufficient for the recognition of material things. The outside world only becomes complete and expresses meaning for a person through colours.
