Translation - English-Finnish - Yet another administrative message for request removalCurrent status Translation
This translation request is "Meaning only". | Yet another administrative message for request removal | | Source language: English
Your translation request was removed for having violated the rule(s) reproduced below, which you agreed to when submitting your text on the [link=t_b_]proper page[/link]:
XXXX
Best regards, | Remarks about the translation | As long as the submission rules have changed, administrative messages have to change accordingly.
Note that the word "rule(s)" has an optional plural mark. That is because the requester could have violated more than one rule. In English, only that optional plural mark is needed. In your language, however, additional plural marks may be needed (on adjectives, verbs, etc.), so please put as many optional plural marks as it needs to make sense.
Please let [link=t_b_] and [/link] marks as is, BUT DON'T FORGET TO TRANSLATE THE TEXT BETWEEN THEM! ;)
WHEN POSSIBLE, I WOULD LIKE THE TRANSLATIONS TO BE DONE BY NATIVE SPEAKERS OF EACH LANGUAGE.
Thanks! :) |

Latest messages | | | | | 27 January 2008 16:42 | | | This translation is ok, but I am again very worried about the link at the end of the text. If it copies this translation text to another place (which has been done before in some way) it is quite possible that it cannot be used in the other place translated in finnish like this (=in this grammatical form).
proper page = asianmukainen sivu
to the proper page = asianmukaiselle sivulle
You see the word changes....Cf to the third button from the right on the top of the page:
members it says in finnish now "käyttäjää" and members=jäsenet (or käyttäjät which is a plural form of a user...)
| | | 27 January 2008 21:35 | | | You are right Maribel, thanks. I wasn´t aware that it might be used in that way...
I don't want another "käyttäjää"-mistake to happen either.
Please, in short: I would like to know where the link takes the user? Will it be substituted for the title of the translation? | | | 29 January 2008 15:31 | | goncinNumber of messages: 3706 | Maribel,
The link leads to this page, where the requester can read (again!) our submission rules. CC: Maribel | | | 6 February 2008 18:09 | | | Ok, ty goncin! I accept, and hope the link text is not used anywhere else without checking the form. |
