Laisse tomber les filles
Un jour c'est toi qu'on laissera
Un jour c'est toi qui pleureras
Oui j'ai pleuré mais ce jour
Non je ne pleurerai pas
Je dirai c'est bien fait pour toi
Je dirai ça t'apprendra
ça te jouera un mauvais tour
Tu le paieras un de ces jours
On ne joue pas impunément

Title
Let the girls down. One day they will let you down.
Translation
English

Translated by gamine
Target language: English

Leave the girls alone
One day someone will leave you
One day it will be you who will cry
Yes, I have cried, but today
No, I will not cry
I will say you deserve it
I will say that will teach you a lesson
That will play a dirty trick on you
You'll pay for it one of these days
You can't play around without getting hurt

Original form of translation before editing:
Let the girls down
One day it will be you they let down
One day it will be you who cries
Yes, I have cried, but from today
No, I will not cry
I will say you deserve it
I will say you learn this way
It will play a dirty trick on you
One does not play unpunished.

Hi, YannMegill. I thought my translation was not that bad. Was it real faulty . It'seems to me that I kept the right tenses. Because if it's that faulty I would prefer that you rejected it.

Yes. Over three phrases had been mistranslated, and as you will see from my copy-paste, you forgot entirely to include the second-to-last line in your translation...
I wanted to give you the points for your effort anyway, but if you want, it's of course easier for me to reject it next time...

Thanks Ian. It was very kind of you not to reject it, though it should have been. But there will not be another time because I'll try to be more careful next time. But next time, if it's too faulty, yes, just reject it. Thanks for your kindness and your answer.
