Teu grito despertou os deuses
Text
Submitted by casper tavernello
Source language: Brazilian Portuguese

Teu grito despertou os deuses
Então a manhã entorpeceu

Teu grito espreitou no leste
E caiu a noite no oeste*
E a horda dispersou

Montes verdes no horizonte

Title
Translation
Japanese

Translated by IanMegill2

Present status of translation:

ミハイル kindly checked my initial version against the original Brazilian, and did a thorough revision for me of the Japanese translation, based on his understanding of the Brazilian.

I am waiting for answers from the submitter of the original text to questions I have asked him, as well as for his feedback about the assumptions I had to make in order to interpret this poem. Because he himself can apparently read Japanese too, I hope he may also have other comments to make it better as well...

Well that's it: here's my final version, made possible by ミハイル's kind cross-checking and Guilon's excellent French version: my gratitude to them both!
Barring any glaring errors in semantic reference, I suppose it's now ready to be checked and validated (or read and trashed, as the case may be ^_^ï¼› )...
