This is a text submitted by (I think) a teacher. He has a student who has recently arrived in The Netherlands from Poland and he can't find any books for him to learn Dutch.
Hello, my name is is Jan Skomra.
I live in Leerdam.
I was born in Poland Polen.
My parents emigrated.
I am now in primary school.
We are going on a school camp (excursion) in June.
I will go to the same school (again) after the summer.
I really want to learn Dutch.
(But) it is very difficult.
I also have to keep practising maths.
Geography and history are also important.
I want to learn to read and speak well.
