i would say:
بالرغم من أن من يشارف الموت هو حي, إلا أن من يشارف الحياة فهو أصلاً ميت
the point is, if you fall, you are already standing, but if you stand up, you were already sitting on your ass, so dont be happy with a little life coming your way because that means you were dead, and dont be sad to be close to death it means you were alive, or in other words, go out there and live life, its better than sitting around waiting for life to happen to you
i like this one a lot!

Nice meaning!
I hope I can convey what I understood from that one, which was the reason why I tried to be litteral translaing it unlike the usual!

It's like there are these people who are half alive(almost alive). These people shall be considered dead.
And there are people who had already died(almost dead)but they lift behind so much to be remembered for so they are considered to be alive.

That was the thing going on my mind when I translated that. What do you think?
I hope Jesaelen can tell us what she meant.

Les deux traductions se valent et sont
valables si l'on prend en considération la devise
ou l'avertissement que vous citez souvent,à l'occasion des demandes de traduction ("ne prendre
en considération que le sens de la traduction" :
("only the meaning".

***Mais il demeure évident que si l'on se place
sur des points de vue (de forme et de fonds) c'est
à dire de stylistique et d'esthétique,il est clair
que la formulaion d'Elmota est plus littéraire et
partant plus belle!
***Alors c'est vrai:"c'est toujours le problème
du contexte,d'ailleurs soulevé ici".
Car quand il s'agit de traduire en dehors du
contexte,on est obligé "d'interpréter" pour
traduire. Ce qui pose le problème ou la Notion
d'équivalence qui d'ailleurs jusqu'à l'heure
actuelle:"pose Un Problème" majeur dans la théorie
de la traduction ( voir les ouvrages suivants:
"Interpréter pour traduire" (1984)Auteurs:SELESKOVICH et LEDERER.
