| Remarks about the translation | SI TRATTA DI UNA RECENSIONE DI UNA STRUTTURA RICETTIVA |

You could eat at the hotel's take-out pizzeria, but you would end up chewing on a pizza out of a box. The pizza was ok by the way. We had a room with a kind of bathroom for disabled persons. The shower and everything functioned just fine. The hotel may have previously been a home for the elderly. |

This looks like some sort of review / recommendation (or non-recommendation as it is not all that favourable..)
Could I make a few suggestions?
You could eat at the hotel's delivery pizzaria, but you would end up chewing on a pizza out of a box. The pizza was ok by the way. We had a room with a kind of bathroom for disabled persons I have seen this signposted as a 'disabled bathroom' which sounds better to me but I can see this might be interpreted the wrong way which I think was your point here. The shower and everything functioned just fine. The hotel may have been a home for the elderly before. (I am just trying to get rid of 'previously probably' or 'probably previously' so close to each other as it doesn't sound very natural to me. Other suggestions welcome!)
Let me know what you think! | | | 14 October 2009 22:36 | | | I edited it following your suggestions. I just kept the previously instead of the before in the last sentence. I think it sounds better.
Thanks for your help.

P.S. pizzaria --> pizzeria | | | 18 October 2009 16:39 | | | I think the word 'afhaalpizzeria' should be translated differently, since it is not delivered. The sentence would then read:
You could eat pizza from the hotel's take-out pizzeria, but you would end up chewing on a pizza out of a box. The pizza was okay by the way. We had a room with a kind of bathroom for disabled persons. The shower and everything functioned just fine. The hotel may have been previously a home for the elderly. | | | 18 October 2009 18:21 | | | If you want to use the word "previously", it should be "previously been", not "been previously". | | | 19 October 2009 12:29 | | LeinNumber of messages: 3389 | Thank you all! AspieBrain, I have edited according to the suggestions above. Do you agree? | | | 21 October 2009 16:11 | | LeinNumber of messages: 3389 | Let me know if you don't please so we can change things if needed - meanwhile I'll accept. | | | 21 October 2009 23:50 | | | I agree all is fine. thanks |
