Title
Daha mutlu olamam
Text
Submitted by Maski
Source language: Turkish

Güne kahveyle baþladým
Aðzým kuru zihnim acýk
Beyaz camda görüntüler
Hepsi o kadar dürüst ki

Hayatýmdan cok memnunum
Aþk bitti aþk aptallýktý
Bir de sigarayý býraksam
Kimse tutamaz beni artýk
Kücük þeyler sevindirir ruhumu
Hayal bile edemezdim ben bunu

Daha mutlu olamam
Daha mutlu olamam

Yaðmurlu bir akþamüstü
Radyo acýk, köprüdeydim
Derken bir anda farkettim
Baþka bir hayat yok ki

Durdum sustum gülümsedim
Gözümü actým ben deðiþtim
Kýzdýnýz, siz haklýydýnýz
Artik size gerek yok
Kücük þeyler sevindirirruhumu
Hayal bile edemezdim ben bunu
Daha mutlu olamam
Daha mutlu olamam (bu akþam)
Remarks about the translation
Hi, this is a song by Mor ve otesi, so I apologize if there are any bad words or such, tho I doubt. I can't find a translation on google. I hope all the letters are in the right places, I copy/pasted this from a lyrics website. Thank you :)

Title
I could not be happier
Translation
English

Translated by kafetzou
Target language: English

I started the day with coffee
My throat is dry, my mind is open
Images in white glass
They are all so straight

I'm so satisfied with my life
Love is finished; love was stupidity
Maybe I'll quit smoking too
Nobody can hold me back anymore
Little things make my soul happy
I could not even have dreamed this

I could not be happier
I could not be happier

On a rainy evening
With the radio on, I was on the bridge
Let's say in an instant I understood
There is no other life

I stopped and smiled silently
I opened my eyes, I changed
You were angry, you were right
You don't need to be anymore
Little things make my soul happy
I could not even have dreamed this
I could not be happier
I could not be happier (tonight)
Remarks about the translation
The "you" in the last part is either plural or formal.

My comments are probably because I'm more accustomed to British English...

Love is finished: vs :Love is over
I stopped and smiled silently: vs :I stopped and smiled quietly (to myself)

I thought of "love is over", but I thought the meaning would be clearer with "finished".

The original said, "I stopped, I became silent, I smiled" - that's why I translated it as "I stopped and smiled silently".
