| | It means:
And I'm here
Drunk and crazy
And my stupid heart
Will shine forever
And I will love you,
I will love you forever.
Baby don't cry in your bed
Because the travelers will be late. |

peinar means to comb (as in comb your hair) no to cry.
Nena no te peines en la cama
means "Baby don't comb your hair in the bed" |

| | I was assuming that was a typo (typing mistake), and that the writer meant "penar". |

| | Wow - look what I found on the internet:
<<ahora se que nena no te peines en la cama y eso de los viajantes es un mito que tienen en el altiplano boliviano

No te peines en la cama se puede interpretar como que ella no quiere tener sexo.
El diccionario de la Real Academia dice:
no peinarse--- una mujer para el hombre que la solicita.
1. fr. coloq. No ser para él.
La referencia de peinarse en la cama es que la mujer no quiere ser de el .>> |

| | Maybe we could say, "Baby, don't sit there in bed combing your hair - the travelers might be late" for "Nena no te peines en la cama que los viajantes se van a atrasar."
What do you think, Guilon? |

| | Here's a translation of the lyrics into English from another website:
And now I’m here
Drunk and crazy
And my idiotic heart
Will always shine
And I’ll love you
I’ll love you forever.
Baby don’t comb your hair in bed
Because the travelers will be late. |
| | 15 January 2007 00:28 |
| | Another website:
"Es una superstición: Si te peinas en la cama se atrasan los viajeros."
In that case, it should be "Don't comb your hair in bed so that the travelers will be late."/"Don't comb your hair in bed to make the travelers late." |
| | 15 January 2007 15:02 |
| | What about this one?
"Don't comb your hair in bed lest the travelers be late" or "lest the travelers should be late" |
| | 16 January 2007 02:24 |
| | But I thought the idea was that BY combing her hair, she was actually CAUSing the travelers to be late (on purpose). |
| | 16 January 2007 02:52 |
| | Yes, that's right, by combing her hair, she could cause the travelers to be late.
The most literal traduction from Spanish would be:
"Don't comb your hair in bed
BECAUSE the travelers will be late" just like you wrote first.

| | Oh - thank you, Guilon. I think the Turkish translation still works in that case. |
