wie wäre es hiermit?
Meine leidende wilde Blume,
Mein leidender Liebling, meine Wahrheit
Meine leidende, einzige Geliebte,
Meine leidende, ach meine Verletzte

As there is not really a german equivalent of "troubled" (except "aufgewühlt", which doesnt fit very well in this context) - can I accept takiskizi's suggestion of "leidend"? I know, "bela" means "mishap" which isnt exactly the meaning of "leidend", but "meine mit Problemen belatete wilde Blume" sounds even worse...

In the 3rd sentence it should be: "Mein leidender, einziger Liebling" (Mein w/o -e, becaus "Liebling" is male).

I don't think that "leidend" is really correct here. I think that "belalım" is someone who causes troubles rather than someone who has troubles. Serba, what do you think?

"menace" what about this one?

"menace" would be "bedroht" in german. "meine bedrohte wilde Blume"... sounds like "my endangered flower", as if there werent many of them left.
dealing with language is really difficult! its often simply not possible to get the exact meaning..

Kafetzou - is "belalim" "troubled" or "someone who has troubles" now? because some time ago you said, its someone who has problems to solve.

"menace" is not "bedroht" - it's "Bedrohung" - but I don't think it's the right word - it's too strong.

As to your question from me, what's the difference between someone who is troubled and someone who has troubles to solve? Anyway, my big Redhouse Turkish dictionary has "troublesome" for this meaning of "belalı".

How about "meine schwierige wilde Blume"?

oder "problematische"?

oh, i meant, if its someone "who has problems to solve" or "who causes problems"? because there's a big difference between these 2.

and to be honest, i've never heard of a "problematische Blume". nothing seems to fit here. But thanks a lot for your efforts! I still got no idea which one of the suggestions to choose, though...

It's really this:

Meine problematische, meine wilde Blume
Meine problematische, meine Liebe, meine Echte
Meine problematische, einzig lieb [?] die ich sagen werde
Meine problematische, ach meine Verwundete.

[tek sev ist auch falsch auf Türkisch.]

Hi.
I have another suggestion: how about "meine besorgte wilde Blume"?
trouble = Sorge
If I understand it right, with "Flower" is ment a person.

Neko, please read the discussion above.

iamfromaustria, the third line is different because the first two lines end with nouns, but the third line ends with a verb, although the endings look similar - the nouns are:

flower: çiçek --> çiçeğim
reality: gerçek --> gerçeğim

to be going to say --> diyecek --> diyeceÄŸim (shortened to diceÄŸim)

I dont get why the present translation is "Mein leidender, einziger Liebling", without considering the "diceÄŸim". but "Meine problematische, einzig lieb [?] die ich sagen werde" doesnt sound german at all, either. btw, what do you mean with "lieb (?)"? isnt it the noun --> "Liebling"?

"tek" = einzig
"sev", from the verb "sevmek" = lieb (the command form of the verb, not the noun Liebe)
That's why said it was wrong in Turkish too.

I don't get why the translation is that way, either.

Turkish experts, can you help with the meaning of the third line?

Aha! According to ViÅŸneFr, "sev dicegim" is from "sevdiceÄŸim", which is a local dialect version of "sevdiÄŸim" = "that I love(d)" or "beloved", so "mein einziger Liebling" is correct, or maybe "meine einzige Geliebte".

Ich finde auch Neko's Vorschlag von "besorgte" nicht schlecht. Auf jeden Fall ist es besser als mein Vorschlag von "problematische".

Meine besorgte, meine wilde Blume
Meine besorgte, meine Liebe, meine Wahrheit
Meine besorgte, meine einzige Geliebte
Meine besorgte, ach meine Verwundete.

is it necessary to repeat "meine" in the first 3 lines? because then, it would be "Meine Besorgte, meine wilde Blume" (because "Besorgte" doesnt refer to a noun) - but to be honest, it sounds much better without saying "meine" twice.

i think soon, i should accept this translation, before the requester isnt interested in it anymore. the 2 best suggestions so far, are "besorgt" and "leidend" in my view - but i can only tell from the german "feeling".

"Meine besorgte wilde Blume" wäre wie folgt:

"Belalı yaban çiçeğim"

Da der Autor jedesmal das -m am Ende von "belali" geschrieben hat, sollte es immer "Meine Besorgte, meine ..." sein (wie ich am 14. November 2007 05:00 geschrieben habe).
