Hello Francky
Can you provide me with a translation for this one?
What is the crime mentioned here? Is it like catching someone red-handed?

Hello jaq84!
"contradiction" is eg : when you say something then just do the opposite, or say the opposite afterwards. "flagrant délit"is when you catch someone just at the moment s/he's acting or talking this way. eg : it's just as if I was talking about dietetic and said : "never eat between lunch and dinner, as it is the best way to get fat!" and that later on, you saw me in the streets eating a big sandwich at 4:00pm!

At one hand, I said something, but at the other hand I did exactly the opposite. This can be understandable as well between two things you say, that contradict themselves, eg : You pretend to be an ecologist and shout against those who are polluting the planet with CO2, then your conversation is interrupted by a phonecall, a car seller telling you your new Porsche Cayenne is waiting for you!

Hope I was clear?
