Tennis is a sport of British origin, played mostly on outdoor courts having a synthetic, cement, sand or grass floor. Two opponent players or doubles, which can be mixed (men and women), participate in the game. The court is divided in two halves by a net, and the goal of the game is to strike a small ball back beyond the net (towards the opponent's half court) using a racket.
