You kindle a bonfire in me
You leave...
It takes a long time to fade away ...
I don't want to help it
I don't want to look at the grey ash ...
I don't want to feel the emptiness and yearning
For what has been and might never come back

I don't want to give you everything
In order not to lose it
I don't want to tell you everything
It's not worth it ...

I want what you want -
Your presence and closeness
Your remembrance
Male passion
Your admiration ...

Hi Aneta

Just a question... "I don't want to help it" means "I don't want to help it to fade away" or "I don't want to help it by rekindling it"?

"I don't want to help it (to fade away)" = I wish the "sweet bonfire" could burn in me for ever!

Thanks for the translation, dear!
I love the rhyme at the end.
(There isn't any rhyme in my Polish version).
