| Anyway I like this our own, ... | | Ynskt mál: Enskt
Anyway I like this our own, unbelievably beautiful world like an infant: I rejoice even at small and simple things. Yet they are always as new, delightful moments for me. (At the moment I'm following through my office window how great blue tits hammer at a new nest in spite of the disturbance of crows (and my office is not in a forest). One could delight in looking the vivid fuss of the birds an hour after another, when they sincerely and energetically build a nest for the purpose of a little moment, to get this summers offspring to the world. |

Síðstu boð | | | | | 29 September 2010 12:38 | | | Hi kleppi,
Could you please change all those 'i' into 'I'? | | | 30 September 2010 18:35 | | | Hi lilian,
I changed all the 'i' to upper case. Thank you for reminding me of the correct form. I have maybe read too much informal blog writings. | | | 30 September 2010 21:26 | | | | | | 4 Oktober 2010 06:58 | | | There are some slight to significant changes in meaning or poor word choice in this translation. However, this text is a difficult one to translate.
E.g , even of ( better is "even in" ) and "riemuitsen" not translated, aito = authentic
"could delight in looking at the", mainio = wonderful, splendid | | | 4 Oktober 2010 12:06 | | | For the most part, I agree with Itsatrap100, although I do not think there is any _significant_ changes in meaning. I would indeed change "rejoice even of" to "rejoice even in", but I do not think it is necessary to add any extra words to translate "iloitsen" and "riemuitsen", because rejoicing means both of them.
Also, as far as I'm concerned, translating the word "aito" to "authentic" in this case, would cause a significant change in meaning, because words sincere or earnest are what the writer means.
