In addition to being the Home of the National Independence, the Magical town of Dolores Hidalgo, is famous for its colorful Talavera ceramic, for the exotic flavors of its ice cream and because José Alfredo Jiménez, the par excellence country music singer-songwriter, was born and grew up there.
Because of all that, Dolores Hidalgo is one of Mexico's most interesting places to visit.
Following through the north of the State, one can find the Magical town of Mineral de Pozos.
