Sidste indlæg | | | | | 14 April 2009 11:05 | | | Hello Imhotep. Is there at least one conjugated verb in this text?
As if there is none, this translation request won't be accepted according to our rule # 4
If there is none, maybe could you add one?
Thanks a lot! | | | 14 April 2009 11:10 | | | Hi, thanks~Francky~This is my friend's translation request, I don't know much about it ....well, can I cancel this request? | | | 14 April 2009 11:21 | | | Well, as Ian told me, verb can be implicite in some languages, maybe is it the case here?
You know I don't like removing translation requests, and if remotion is avoidable, I'll gladly leave it and let it be translated.
If ever you added "there is some", or "I think there is", or "I read there is some financial crisis..." this request would be accepted.
What do you think?
| | | 14 April 2009 11:23 | | | OK~thanks for you suggestion~^-^ | | | 14 April 2009 11:46 | | | | | | 17 April 2009 07:49 | | | Francky,
what do you mean by 'conjugated verb'? Chinese doesn't do that.
So, how do I know, when I submit a Chinese text for translation, if it is acceptable or not?
I am working on the translation, btw.
Martina
| | | 17 April 2009 13:56 | | | This is the reason why I asked a Chinese native speaker (Imhotep) whether the text was out of frame. Moreover, when I asked this text was just this big :
" 金èžå±æœºä¸‹å¯¹æˆ‘国上市公å¸å…¬å…价值问题的探讨 "
Maybe imhotep added the biggest part of this text (the three last lines of it) after I suggested to add a part where there would be a conjugated verb?
Don't worry about knowing whether it is out of frame when submitting the text, lutzmartina, each time an admin is in doubt, even if s/he doesn't know yet, s/he sets the text in stand-by and asks an expert in the language, so that it is not removed if it is not out of frame.
This is all about our databank, once we stated there must not be any text without conjugated verb, of course we release a text when we are notified by an expert in the language any specificity, like eg : verb is implicit and this form is currently used in the language.
As far as I could check using an automatic tool this first line (about which I was asking, then the three other lines were probably added after I asked Imhotep to add a conjugated verb ) first line was meaning something like :
"Financial crisis on China's listed companies under the fair value of the problem"
| | | 18 April 2009 07:28 | | | Francky,
ok, I understand. Thanks for the explanation. | | | 22 April 2009 08:34 | | | Hi,
I did submit a translation for this text two days ago, and now I cannot find it anywhere. I may have done something wrong, if it really isn't there, please tell me and I will re-submit it.
Otherwise...where is it? | | | 22 April 2009 08:36 | | | @lutzmartina (⊙o⊙)..I didn't see it. I don't know... | | | 22 April 2009 08:58 | | | Imhotep,
no problem, I must have done something wrong. I just now re-submitted it. |
