("I havenâ€™t been able to keep myself from doing certain things" ) "I havenâ€™t been able to help doing certain things;" (I couldn't avoid doing them) and at the end "...this little gift I sent to you ..." What do you think?

I can edit the sentence as "I havent been able to help doing certain things" about the other one , I was first going to write the same "you made me feel so different inside" but then I wanted to write something more lyrical okay I can edit it too, after all you are an expert here
