Bonjour,

Maybe we could help the requester. Francky or Lene, could you help me making a bridge, please?

Hello dear:

"Where we are going, we don't need a road/there is no need for a road."

The first line: "Là où on va," "on" signifies a group of persons that's why I give you one sentence as the translation would be the same. Or "Where one is going there is no need for a road"
Up to you to use one of them or put the second one in the comment area, as here the requester is speaking about a group.

Là où on va,

Not sure it is going to be a correct one though :

- "To where one's going , there's no need for a road" (or "one doesn't need a road"

- "To where we're going, we don't need a road"

I'm a speaker of the source-language, but I'm sure not a one of the target-language, so that I can't assume my bridge is correct.

Hi Franck. Your bridge is fine. Wasn't sure one could start a sentence with "To where" That's why I translated it the other way.. Bad boss

I don't know whether my bridge is fine either, Lene, about English language I won't ever feel like assuming I translated accurately.

Basically this site was created with the idea of letting texts be translated by native speakers of the target-language who mastered the source-language. (here it is about a bridge, but bridges also require accuracy)

Reality tought us there were too few English native speakers, "la preuve" : one Danish and one Belgian to translate into English.

I know this text is required into Latin, but for this kind of sentence, one needs to translate as accurately as possible, which is something I can't assume about my own translation. If it were into French, I'd be able to assume at 100% my translation is an accurate one. Not the case here.

Hello There,

I'm sorry, I did not think i would be able to explain my request in English, but as I see, English should be the source language for this Latin translation. In the matter of fact, the sentence is a quote from "Back to the future :
"Where we're going, we don't need roads."
This is the Original sentence. if it can help.

Thank you to all of you, and my apologies for my English i hope not so bad.
