"kys din for evigt" means "kisses, yours forever" (besos, su para siempre?)

This is a very okay tranlation - only the word "nogensinde" has not been translated. The word meaning "ever" in English. I do not remember the Spanish word right now.

don´t you usually translate "ever" = "ya", in Spanish? Like in Portuguese: "você é o melhor que já me aconteceu".

Yo habría traducido "eres lo mejor que me ha pasado nunca", pero es la palabra contraria a "ever"

mas não pode dizer: "eres lo mejor que ya me ha pasado"?

what the Danish text says is: "You are the best thing that has ever happened to me"
To me, it seems a bit strange to use "siempre", especially because that would definately not be the translation in Portuguese ("sempre" ), pero sí: "já".

Yes. In portuguese: você é a melhor coisa que já me aconteceu.

Al final he decidido poner " eres la mejor cosa que me ha sucedido hasta ahora"

"Eres lo mejor que me ha pasado nunca" was perfect. That's how we say it in Spanish. About that Portuguese "você é o melhor que já me aconteceu", you have to accept that, all in all, Spanish and Portuguese are two different languages that went apart 800 years ago. We look very similar but we don't share the same idioms. Right?

That's why I didn't vote.

ok, Guilon, I get your point :-) And of course I agree with you - I wasn´t correcting acuario either, I was just wondering whether there was no other way of saying the "nogensinde" in Spanish, but apparently, there isn´t. Which I do accept. I may not like it, but I do accept it!

I would never have guessed that "you´re the best thing that has happened to me NEVER" would be the correct translation, but that´s because I´m no Spanish expert. I will, however, continue to "load" you all with my questions and doubts because besides being here on Cucumis to help others with their translations, I´m also here to learn.....

Of course, Anita, you're always welcome to expose issues, and I must say that I like a lot being somehow a "Spanish professor".
