Merci d'avance

Cordialement

I've just read all your emails, and I thank you for it.

After checking, I realised that I still encounter the same problem but not for all accounts.

Please find enclosed an example of what is displayed when I try to access an anterior sell.

If I want to check the order of 01/02/2012:

Here is the error message: "The requested record cannot be found".

Then an order of 25/11 displays on the screen.

I hope this will help you understand.

Thank you in advance,

Regards.

I'm just not so sure about the date order. I america the month come first but I think in England it's the same than in France.

Je ne suis juste pas certain de l'ordre de la date. Au Etats-Unis le mois vient en premier, mais je crois qu'en Angletterre l'ordre est le même qu'en France (jour/mois/année).

Hey

--> Answering English co-workers
'Answering' sounds better than just 'answer'.
It seems 'colleagues' is used for people you work with and that are in the same field of work.
'Co-worker' is wider, and can be used for people who work in other domain as well as people who don't have the same rank.

--> I've just read all your emails, and I thank you for it.
I am not sure why, but I feel like adding this.

--> After checking, I realised that I still encounter the same problem but not on all accounts.
'To checkout' is to pay.
It is true that there is a 'vérification' meaning.
But I can't find this meaning in the Random House dictionary.
I'd say that 'on' is more appropriate.
Again, I am not sure why...

--> "The requested record cannot be found".
Changing the word order, don't know why... again

--> I hope this will help you understand.
More common and smooth.

About the date; since we do not know the order I would leave it as is.

Hope I am not wrong about all of that

You should wait for confirmation as I already edited my post

Looks like I was a bit wrong afterall
--> Answering to English co-workers --> Answering English co-workers
woops

Also, a simple 'checking' is better

Hello RedShadow.
1st line I'd say:'Answering English colleagues'.
To checkout signifies to pay but let's say someone has bet on some thing and the person won then there is a checkout before paying. A bit complicated..

Well, that is only my opinion.
I agree with you twice, dont know why, just feel it that way, .
Let's have Frank's opinion too.

Yes and also you can say 'to check something out', or 'check it out' which was my first choice

It is common but maybe it is more American English.
Anyway to avoid ambiguities, I changed and proposed a simple 'check'

Francky is already in the loop

Hi Red Shadow. 'checking - check-out aso' can as well be translated as 'verification' and I even think it might be the best word in this translation.
Personal opinion, my English isn't that good.
