Change "i" to "a" in "unbelievible, so it becomes "unbelievable".


The original Swedish text is rather strange, but I would like to make these changes in the beginning of the translation:

My love you are everything to me, without you I acctually don't know if I had existed, you've helped me so much....

har använt fel ord, vilket gör att man inte förstår sammanhanget

Overall the translation has much to "ask for" - even when it comes to "the meaning"...
I suggest someone make a completely new translation, i.e. Caspar! Unfortunately I don't have the time now.

The translation is inaccurate, and very badly formulated. It seems the translater didn't understand the text, so the text is translated word-by-word..

I would suggest:

Darling, you mean everything.
Without you, honestly I hadn’t existed.
You have helped me greatly and
I love you so much.
You are my everything,
you never leave me because
I love you so unbelievably much.

I don't know if you saw my message at the beginning of this thread. I am more than aware that the translation contains errors.

If I choose, from time to time, to help a new (or young) translator by going through their work with them, showing them the different possibilities, showing them where their mistakes were made, it is because I feel this method will help them become better translators.

The discussion threads on the translations are also an opportunity for different translators to get to know one another and share their knowledge, translation techniques and friendship.

If I reject outright a text (which does happen quite often), no lessons can be drawn from the experience by the translator of the text, nor for the translators who are asked to help with it's evaluation. Rejecting outright may also lead the younger translator to believe that his work has no value whatsoever.

As an Expert in the course of evaluating a translation I find a little bit "fort de chocolat", that you butt in and start almost giving orders. I am quite capable of deciding whether or not to ask for a complete rewrite.

"In fact i don't know seriously if I hadn't found" er ikke en rett oversettelse fra "Utan dej vet jag faktist allvarligt om jag inte hade funnits" Den rette oversettelsen blir: "Without you, I seriously don't know if i had existed."
Oversettelsen fra den engelske teksten over blir: "Faktisk vet jeg seriøst ikke om jeg hadde funnest", der du ike nevner noe om "Uten deg".
Derfor blir dette feil.
