| | Hi Pia!
Well, this is a good question, and I'll try to answer it...
- This text seemed weird to me, so I set it in stand-by, but didn't post about it right away, which I should do systematically.
- I forgot it afterwards.
- I could have noticed I left it in stand-by after Otto28 posted something that has nothing to do with this text and used the admin's calling button, but unfortunately that wasn't the case.
Coming back to what seemed weird to me, it is about a couple of things :
- "ocn", I thought this word had no meaning, and was a typo for "och"
- One sentence is said twice, and I promised myself telling the requester s/he could have saved a few points for another translation request if s/he took one of the twin sentences off the text frame...
... And I forgot again!
Have a nice day!

| piasNúmero de mensagens: 8113 | I see!! I never saw the typo, think I need to use my glasses, thanks Franck
The requester has been online, but no comment... I will edit the typo, anyway. |

| | I think the first sentence is not correct, or doesn't make sense the way it is typed.
"karlek" and "min son" being two different entities, the verb is to be conjugated at its plural form, for it to be gramatically acceptable, isn't it? CC: lilian canale |

| | my son is my life.
love and my son is my life. |

| | Hej soppan!
"Love and my son" demand the plural form : (" are my life" |

| piasNúmero de mensagens: 8113 | Nothing wrong with this sentence, Franck!
(It is in plural "are" ) |

| | OH? Thanks Pia!
So "är" means "is", but it also means "are"?
I'm sorry, I didn't know that!
Really sorry for the inconvenience, soppan!
so "Love and my son are my life"
"AmÅr fÄlÄus meusque vitam meam sunt?
I don't know whether the accusative is the proper declension here, maybe nominative, as it is used with the verb "to be"?
My Latin is gone with the wind!
Aneta, could you help here? Thanks a lot!

| | Francky, why didn't you put your translation in a proper place? Do you want to make it or maybe I am supposed to do it???
|

| | As I wasn't sure at all about rightness of my translation, and as I already delayed the translation process for this text, I sent you a Cc for you to confirm.
If you assume my translation is right, I'll give it for free to this poor soppan, who's already been waiting his translation long enough!

| | I can't see you "delayed the translation process for this text", dear. I see sth opposite... --> translation request into Latin..., so...
I can't translate without a valid bridge... Soppan, even if native, is not a person who can provide bridges... It can be too risky to translate it not knowing Swedish. I'd better ask Pia for the bridge.

Can I ask you, dear Pia? |

| piasNúmero de mensagens: 8113 | Franck's bridge is correct, Aneta
And for Franck: "vara" |
