Neste livro direcionado aos alunos da segunda fase do segundo ciclo, a educação para o trânsito é introduzida como um instrumento de sensibilização, permitindo ao leitor perceber a importância de se adquirir noções de trânsito na escola, aprendendo a diferenciar as responsabilidades inerentes ao papel que cada cidadão representa no trânsito, tais como: pedestre, ciclista, motociclista, condutor, passageiro, carroceiros entre outros.
Na "Escola Estadual Iara Maria Minotto Gomes" procuramos analisar a maneira em que a educação para o trânsito vem se desenvolvendo, observando junto aos professores conceitos, metodologias e a realização do um amplo trabalho disciplinar enfatizando a necessidade de se respeitar o espaço dos outros, o que a longo prazo possibilitará a formação de cidadãos conscientes.

In this book aimed to students of the fourth year of primary school, traffic education is presented as an instrument for raising awareness which will allow the reader to understand the importance of receiving at school, basic information about traffic, learning how to recognize responsibilities implied in each different role citizens play in the traffic such as: pedestrian, cyclist, motorcyclist, driver, passenger, carriage driver among others.
At "Escola Estadual Iara Maria Minotto Gomes", we try to analize the ways traffic education has been developing, discussing with the teachers the concepts, methods and a broad subject introduction which emphasizes the need of respecting other people's space, that will, in the long term, result in a society of concientious citizens. |

O original "...that will, in the long term, result..."
em Portugal ficaria "...o que, a longo prazo, possibilitará..."
Aqui, era obrigatório, mas como já disse, não conheço os hábitos daÃ... e não é uma crÃtica, é mesmo uma sugestão: Até já dei o meu voto positivo!

Here in spain we also have first and second "ciclo" and the second year of the second "ciclo" is the 8th year of primary school (its what we do when we have 13-14 years old).
I am not very sure of the equivalence but I am almost sure that is not the fourth year of primary school | | |

In my opinio, because i don´t know hom many year has each "ciclo", the literal and correct translations is "second phase of the second cycle". | | |

There's no "phase" or "cycle" regarding education in English.
