| | Hi Laura
The english should either read "Sorry for disturbing you" or "Sorry to disturb you"
Which do you prefer?
Bises
Tantine |
| | 5 Avril 2008 19:34 |
| | Yes, Tantine is right, change it immediately please. |
| | 5 Avril 2008 20:19 |
| | They didn't make the changes so why was this put up for a vote? |
| | 5 Avril 2008 21:52 |
| | It's
*Sorry for disturbing you
*Sorry to disturb you |
| | 5 Avril 2008 22:11 |
| | So it should be rejected then. |

| | David, what about waiting a bit longer for the correction the translator should provide.?
Maybe Laura2007 hasn't logged in after the suggestion was given. There are plenty of other translations which have been hanging there for longer, awaiting.
What do you think?
|
| | 5 Avril 2008 22:35 |
| | sure, but not too long...it is taking up needed space. Also, isn't about time you go back and look at some of your stuff for validation? |

| | Good Heavens David! Why on earth are you being so rude to Lilly?
You may find it appropriate, under the translations you evaluate, to be impolite and to insult translators and other members of cucumis helping with the evaluation.
Under the translations I am dealing with I deliberately create a warm, friendly and studious atmosphere and I will not tolerate one member of this site insulting or being deliberately impolite to another member under one of my evaluations.
You are being too hasty, and your haste is creating havoc.

| | no insult intended. Look at what was put for a vote. Do you really think I am being hasty? |

| | Ok OK OK OK
We all try to do our best so keep cool all. Despite we ask people to judge ONLY the meaning on the poll, that's right that some will vote "NO" because of the target language is not correct even if the meaning is right. Nathan made the error while voting.
It think we should insist more in the poll question about the meaning.
A clear rule isnot easy to find. It really depends on the translation and on the expert free time. On this case, the translation was easy to edit, so we could have edited ourself before submitting the poll.
But on the other hand, when a translator like Luar2005, doesn't reply to our message, and if wwe don't have the time to edit the translation ourselves, we can also reject the translation.
Anyway, waiting for the "I take care of this evaluation" button, when an expert submit a poll, we should leave him the responsability of this evaluation.
We don't have to take care too much of the backlog being longer and longer. We do our best and that's fine for me.
Just my opinon. CC: lilian canale |
