Hi lilian,
Now I realize that maybe we should say "step on" or "set foot on" Samsun. What do u think?
The allied powers are the entente states, the enemy countries of Turkey of the Independence war. I think in history the term "allied powers" is used for the case.

"arrived in"?

So, instead of "was brought" I'd say "was established"

"Peace was established/set up with the allied powers..."

I've edited a few things, I hope you agree.
Also, in the last line I think "the Turkish Republic was proclaimed..." would fit better.
What do you think?

It seems fine lilian thank you, if you think that "proclaimed" would fit better you could also change it.

I'm not sure if it is a homework
