Wow! Thanks Maddie, this link is very interesting, as there's the translation into English from the song :

All my friends dance the oro
Dance the oro, they make the day
All the Roma, mummy
All the Roma, dad, dad
All the Roma, o mummy
All the Roma, dad, dad
Ederlezi, Ederlezi
All the Roma, mummy

All the Roma, dad, sacrifice sheep
But me, poor drummer, I must stay away
A Romany day, our day
Our day, Ederlezi

Dad, a sheep for us
All the Roma, dad, sacrifice sheep
All the Roma, dad, dad
All the Roma, oh mummy
All the Roma, dad, dad
Ederlezi, Ederlezi
All the Roma, mummy

...One thing I don't understand, it's why they say : "All the Roma", is it the way "Rrom" reads in English?

Hi, Francky. Roma stands for "the people of Roma". Roma is plural and is the same term used in all languages. Roma people are all rroms (gypsies) all over the world. I suggested in this site to use the term "rrom", which is also perfectly correct. They also use to write with doble "r" just because it is a stressed "r", so the difference may be made with the "r" from other languages. Roma's language has a short and new history of linguistics, this language is not sufficiently explored. As they are a nomade people it is also difficult to analyse it, it was influenced by the languages in the states where they stop(ped): Russia, Bulgaria, Hungary, Spain ecc. The Roma linguists made a lot of efforts to render a standard literary Roma language, but unfortunately the result was that no rrom (gypsy) could understand it. They decided to change the name "gitano or hitano or zingaro or zigoner" into "rrom" because the former had a bad conotation, meaning "untouchable" ("dirty) from old Greek language. They say that actually it is not even sure that the people the greeks named like this was their people and, besides, it is not right to use such a name. Unfortunately, using "rrom" or "rom" everybody believes that they are Romanian people, or that they are the gypsies from Romania, or that the Romanians are gypsies. But Roma are all the "gypsies" all over the world, a nomade people, considered to have its origin in India or close to India. It's a pity that history doesn't do its best to find out the origin about a people still among us and with an alive language....So "all the Roma" is correct .
