I think you didn't notice thet this request does not contain a conjugated verb therefore it is out of frame according to our submission rule #4.
It shouldn't have been translated the way it is.
I'll try to fix it
@khalili,
Não são aceites para tradução frases que não contenham pelo menos um verbo conjugado. Deves adicionar um sujeito e um verbo à tua frase. O melhor seria: " It's a little lamb...."
Se concordares, farei a modificação. | | | 11 April 2011 18:31 | | | Oh - sorry - I didn't know that it has to be a complete sentence.
I wonder why a Portuguese speaker requested a translation from Greek into English. | | | 11 April 2011 20:46 | | | | | | 11 April 2011 20:47 | | | | | | 11 April 2011 21:24 | | | Hi User10, could you edit the original so that I can add "It's" at the beginning of the translation?

Therefore, I would suggest "It's a ittle lamb, white and fat, it's own mother's pride" | | | 13 April 2011 17:21 | | | That's what "the apple of its mother's eye" means. It's an idiom. | | | 15 April 2011 18:53 | | | Sorry folks I've been out for a few days without laptop.
Thanks for the corrections on poem.
kafetzou, Lilian is right. I asked, and normally I do, translation to english because I think it's easier to find someone that can translate greek to english than greek to portuguese.
Thank you all
