it seems you used the verb at the infinitive ( "לשלוט" )
As the original text is at the imperative, in Hebrew wouldn't it rather read " תשלוט" ?

I asked a friend who studied French to help me out, apparently that wasn't a brilliant idea.
Anyways the correct Hebrew form should be "שלוט".
