| QU'EST-CE D'AUTRE QUE DE L'AMOUR | | لغة الهدف: فرنسي
EST-CE DE L'AMOUR? ETRE LOIN DE QUELQU'UN NE PAS LE REMARQUER QUAND IL EST PRES DE VOUS LE SENTIR QUAND IL EST AU LOIN
CE QUE JE N'AI PU GARDER QUAND JE L'AVAIS EN MA POSSESSION JE N'AI PU L'OUBLIER QUAND JE L'AI PERDU
CE POUR QUOI JE POURRAIS MOURIR C'EST MON AMOUR DESESPERE (désespéré) |

آخر رسائل | | | | | 30 كانون الاول 2006 01:20 | | | In the first verse, there is no mention of the first person - this should be the infinitive:
IS THIS LOVE?
BEING FAR AWAY FROM A PERSON
NOT NOTICING WHEN THEY ARE NEAR
FEELING IT WHEN THEY ARE FAR
WHAT I COULD NOT HOLD WHEN IT WAS IN MY HAND
I COULD NOT FORGET WHEN I LOST IT
WHAT I COULD DIE FOR
THAT IS MY DESPERATE LOVE | | | 30 كانون الاول 2006 06:15 | | | D'accord Frankie je vais arranger ça en suivant les indications de kafetzou.
Thank you very much Laura for helping me with this! Do you think it's OK now:
EST-CE DE L'AMOUR?
ETRE LOIN DE QUELQU'UN
NE PAS S'APERCEVOIR QUAND IL EST PRES DE VOUS
LE SENTIR QUAND IL EST AU LOIN
CE QUE JE N'AI PU GARDER QUAND JE L'AVAIS EN MA POSSESSION
JE N'AI PU L'OUBLIER QUAND JE L'AI PERDU
CE POUR QUOI JE POURRAIS MOURIR
C'EST MON AMOUR DESESPERE (désespéré) | | | 30 كانون الاول 2006 08:02 | | | I'm not sure - should it be "s'apercevoir" or "l'apercevoir"? Otherwise it looks good to me. | | | 30 كانون الاول 2006 08:18 | | | Well, as far as I know "fark etmek" = "to notice, realize", and you did translate it "noticing", that is "not noticing" here. In French, we could say "remarquer" or "s'apercevoir". Now if I say "ne pas L'apercevoir", it would mean you can't even see them when they are near (apercevoir = see, perceive) which goes perhaps a bit too far. I mean, if you've got eyes, you can't help it but "see", "notice/s'apercevoir" is another matter altogether, you can be distracted, or take the other person for granted, i.e. "apercevoir, but not s'apercevoir", see, but not notice.
Anyway, I wish you a Happy New Year! :-) Carole |
