| | Hi Pia. Yes, I know it's written "beautiful" vacker but found that in this context was needn't, but suppose you're right. CC: pias lilian canale |

| | I wonder if that "En vacker dag " doesn't have the meaning of "Certain day" (I mean, nothing to do with the fact of the day being "beautiful" or rainy ). |
| | 2009年 जुलाई 24日 19:48 |
| | That was what I thought about. That's why I didn't translated beautiful. Find your suggestion fine, Lilian. CC: pias |

| | I would prefer:
"One day everything vanishes" |
| | 2009年 जुलाई 25日 12:17 |
| | Some day everything dies... maybe
|

| | "Certain day" isn't right. It should be more of a "A beautiful day" |
| | 2009年 जुलाई 27日 12:03 |
| | Instead of using word "die", I'd use "become extinct" or "die out". |

| | I think that Lunatunes' translation is fine.
"Some day everything dies". Conveys the idea.
But you have the last word, Lilian. CC: lunatunes |

| piasचिठ्ठीको सङ्ख्या: 8113 | I still think "one beautiful day" is ok (even if you got me thinking it was soo weird first) but if one can't write that way, I like what hwo-8 wrote: "One day everything vanishes" VANISHES seems better than "dies"... IMO |

| | I would like something like this: some day (or "one day" ) everything dies (or "everything vanishes" ). To me "one beautiful day" does not seem to be the best translation of the beginning of the phrase. I feel a bit more unsure about the end of the phrase (and which to choose of "one day"/"some day" and "dies"/"vanishes" ). Which translation of the end of the sentence to choose depends on how you interprete the Swedish word "slockna" in this context. |

| lenabचिठ्ठीको सङ्ख्या: 1084 | I would translate "en vacker dag" : one(fine) day/ one of these (fine) days. The fine isn't necessary.
About "slocknar", I'd say : dies out.
As Pia said, it also depends on the intended meaning of the swedish word. |
