| My sister OK maybe we made some mistakes | TranslationEnglish Translated by kafetzou | Target language: English
My sister OK maybe we made some mistakes - I've forgotten them all - I've closed this chapter and I want you to close it too, but what's the meaning of drawing it out for so long - put an end to it all - let's start with a clean slate - it's time for it to end - this is too much, Esra - I apologize for everything I did, either knowingly or not. Come on, let's make peace - look, I'm getting uncomfortable in this situation - please! You can be sure - I've changed. Your loving brother, Serhat ... I'm waiting for word from you... if I have had any influence | Remarks about the translation | This is a bridge translation to help with the French.
They're apparently not really brother and sister - just close friends. |

It seems to be consistent with the french translation, don't you think?
If you have a little time to help us, can you give you opinion on other turkish to french translations?
Friendly, and respectfully. | | | 26 July 2008 01:01 | | | Hi, just one thing seems strange to me:
„ whether Esra knows or doesn't, I apologize for everything I didâ€
„je m'excuse pour tout ce que j'ai pu faire consciemment ou pasâ€
It’s hard to follow the French translation, the one with no punctuation marks, but this part of the phrase doesn’t match.
I don’t read Turkish, so I don’t know what the original says.
I hope this helps.

| | | 26 July 2008 01:43 | | | Hi Kafetzou,
"bu kadar da olmaz esra bilip ve ya bilmeden bütün yaptıklarım için özür dilerim." This part is wrongly translated. It says:
"This is too much Esra I apologize for everything I did deliberately or unwittingly." | | | 26 July 2008 02:10 | | | Oh - Esra is the little brother/sister! Is this always a woman's name, or can it be a man?
Also, why does the writer address the recipient as "kardeÅŸ" , but sign it as "kardeÅŸin Serhat"? They can't both be younger! | | | 26 July 2008 02:31 | | | Esra is always a female name.
In my opinion, they are not just ordinary friends, there is a sincere love and respect between them, that's why they call each other as "kardeÅŸim" - this addressing isn't related with their ages, it makes their friendship -how can I say- more meaningful. Well, of course Im not so sure, I'm just guessing it | | | 26 July 2008 03:17 | | | Ah - so they're not really brother and sister? | | | 26 July 2008 03:20 | | | I changed it to sister and made a note in the comments field. | | | 26 July 2008 14:51 | | | Yes, they are not sibling. I think your translation is correct as it is now. | | | 26 July 2008 16:39 | | | Lilian, I think you can validate this now - thanks. CC: lilian canale |
