Hi Jaq,

I think "devoted to" would be better as: "directed at" or perhaps "related to"...

Hi lillian,
Well, I wasn't sure whether to use dedicated or devoted so I did a little search on the web and found sentences like:
"This exhibition is dedicated to...." but of course that wasn't the one we wanted.
Other results:
"This exhibition is devoted to the Music of..." and that was an example.Try it yourself!
and I picked the word accordingly. Anyway, given the choice I'd pick "directed at".

Well, jaq, what about "aimed" or "focused"?

'devote' gives the sense of 'consecrate' (life) to sth or sb. It's usually about the church, God, a cause, etc
Another use is as: "giving priority to sth"
But in both cases the subject is usually a person. See what I mean?
