Tulia cum puellis in schola est.
Multae herbae circa scholam sunt. Schola ad aquam, prope silvam, est.
Magistra et discipulae in silvam, prope aquam, ambulant et violas delibant. Ex aqua ardea avolat. Tum discipulae violas portant, postea scholam violis ornant.
Poeta appropinquat. Magistram discipulasque salutat:
“Que, Tulia! Avete, puellae!”
Deinde Caecilia cum poeta, a schola, ad villam remeat et amicis magistraeque ait: “Valete!”
“Vale, Caecilia!”

Hello! ah, you said it yourself : "Valete", with a "v"! "v", like for "silva" (or "sylva", "viola","avolat".
What is this? a "v" is a "v", even if it is pronounced like a "u", it is still writen with a "v", at any time...
