Καλημέρα. Χθες το βράδυ αυτός δούλευε. Ο προϊστάμενος του Μ. μου είπε ότι μίλησε με κάποιον από κει. Καλή τύχη να έχεις με το τεστ. Να προσέχεις τον εαυτό σου.

Γεια σου Μourio

Θα ήθελα να ζητήσω μια διευκρίνιση. Στην αγγλική γέφυρα που δόθηκε απο την ειδικό στα ρουμάνικα αναφέρεται "M's boss..." - ο προϊστάμενος/αφεντικό του Μ. . Εσύ μετέφρασες ως "Ο προϊστάμενος Μ. ". Υποθέτω ότι μετέφρασες από τα ρωσικά. Θα ήθελα να σε ρωτήσω γιατί δεν έβαλες το "του". Δεν υπάρχει στη ρωσική εκδοχή;

Αγαπητέ User10.
Όντως την μετάφραση την έχω κάνει από την ρώσικη γλώσσα. Στο ρώσικο κείμενο ήταν ΅Начальник М. сказал мне΅ που σημαίνει ¨Ο προϊστάμενος Μ. μου είπε¨ Εάν η φράση θα ήταν ¨Его начальник М. мне сказал¨, τότε η σωστή μετάφραση θα ήταν ΅Ο προϊστάμενος του ,Μ., μου είπε΅
Его = του
Πιθανόν έγινε λάθος μετάφραση στα ρώσικα, και βεβαίως αντιστοίχως και στα ελληνικά, διότι εγώ δεν γνωρίζω τα ρουμάνικα για να κάνω σύγκριση.

Mourio, ευχαριστώ για την άμεση απάντηση.

Hi!

Could you please help me with this?. mourio1 translated the text from Russian into Greek.He translated "...boss M. (the boss named M) told me..." instead of "M.'s boss told me..." (Freya's bridge). He says there is no "of" (or something that denotes the meaning "the boss of M." ) in the Russian version. ?

Hi User10!

Hmmmm... In the Russian version without the full man's name (this M.) it's impossible to say weather it's "M's boss" or "boss M.". But as far as the original text is on Romanian, I think Freya better knows what it means So she must be right!

Hi all!

Sorry to interfere again. Actually this text was without punctuation, nothing at all from the beginning and so the versions of translation could have been more, depending where you put the comma.
The versions of translation can be these ones:

1. Yesterday night his boss worked. M. told me that... - I didn't pick this one because of the thing that bosses usually don't work at night, my opinion. ^.^.

2. Yesterday night he worked. His boss, M., told me...- this one could have been too, but we needed extra commas before and after the name.

And this is how I remained to the version of translation that you can see now: "Yesteday night he worked. M.'s boss told me[...]"

Just to make this text clearer for everyone.

You're welcome! This was the kind of text that makes you guess more. It was an SMS, I think, and the user couldn't help us either, since he doesn't know Romanian, but hopefully he will understand what is it about. The "characters" from this text should be more familiar to him than they are to us.

I shortened the name because both Russian and Greek alphabets don't use latin letters, so I thought I should leave only the initial of the name.

I did my best.
