. Î•ÏƒÏ Î¼ÎµÏ„ÎφÏασες ως "Ο Ï€Ïοϊστάμενος Îœ. ".
Его = του
Πιθανόν Îγινε λάθος μετάφÏαση στα Ïώσικα, και βεβαίως αντιστοίχως και στα ελληνικά, διότι εγώ δεν γνωÏίζω τα Ïουμάνικα για να κάνω σÏγκÏιση. | | | 23 Februar 2010 20:11 | | User10Anzahl der Beiträge: 1173 | Mourio, ευχαÏιστώ για την άμεση απάντηση.
Hi!
Could you please help me with this?. mourio1 translated the text from Russian into Greek.He translated "...boss M. (the boss named M) told me..." instead of "M.'s boss told me..." (Freya's bridge). He says there is no "of" (or something that denotes the meaning "the boss of M." ) in the Russian version. ? CC: Siberia Sunnybebek | | | 23 Februar 2010 20:36 | | | Hi User10!
Hmmmm... In the Russian version without the full man's name (this M.) it's impossible to say weather it's "M's boss" or "boss M.". But as far as the original text is on Romanian, I think Freya better knows what it means So she must be right!

Sorry to interfere again. Actually this text was without punctuation, nothing at all from the beginning and so the versions of translation could have been more, depending where you put the comma.
The versions of translation can be these ones:
1. Yesterday night his boss worked. M. told me that... - I didn't pick this one because of the thing that bosses usually don't work at night, my opinion. ^.^.
2. Yesterday night he worked. His boss, M., told me...- this one could have been too, but we needed extra commas before and after the name.
And this is how I remained to the version of translation that you can see now: "Yesteday night he worked. M.'s boss told me[...]"
Just to make this text clearer for everyone.

It was an SMS, I think, and the user couldn't help us either, since he doesn't know Romanian, but hopefully he will understand what is it about. The "characters" from this text should be more familiar to him than they are to us.
I shortened the name because both Russian and Greek alphabets don't use latin letters, so I thought I should leave only the initial of the name.
I did my best.
