| User10Number of messages: 1173 | Hi Dani,
Is this text product of mechaninical transliteration? Because there are two points that are problematic.
"κι εγω το δυο"-->I think it should be "κι εγώ το ίδιο"
"ενα πικÏο gam..... γιατι"-->"είναι πικÏÏŒ γαμ...γιατί"
These two points cannot be translated. Could you post the two original lines? Maybe we'll find a way to correct them, or else we must remove them. |

| | Yes User10 I used transliteration from:
"ki ego to dio ... se agapao"
"ena pikro gam..... giati"
Tks.

| | I'd like to translate this, but there are a few parts I don't understand. For example, what are "δαγκωματιÎÏ‚", and why did you replace "gam" with "na parei"? |

| User10Number of messages: 1173 | Hi Kafetzoy,
"δαγκωματιÎÏ‚"= bites, (v. to bite)
I replaced gam...with "na parei" (damn it) because I think "gam..."= "gamwto"="fuck/damn it" |
| | 20 December 2010 20:22 |
| | I took it to mean gamoto too, but then why not just leave it? I didn't know "na parei" meant "damn it". I'd like to try to translate it, but please feel free to reject my translation if I'm totally off the mark, as I'm not sure of everything. |

| | Before "Give some of them to" I had:
Kissssseeeeeeeeeeesssssssssssssss
:-)
That change something? |

| | I don't understand, daniingrez. Is there another version where you had written "kisses" ? In the original, it says, "δωσε και καποια στην ξανθουλα" - it doesn't say φιλάκια. |

| | Sorry for the delay answering but I was out for vacations...Let's see if like this makes any sense to you...
Original Text after transliteration:
"
Î±Ï†Î¿Ï Î¼Îµ ξÎÏεις ότι δεν είμαι καθόλου κλαψιάÏης κι koimamamai σαν πουλάκι
Îστω και με μια μικÏή γεÏση πικÏίας
Îνα πικÏÏŒ gam..... γιατί
άντε κοιμήσου πολυλογά
τα λÎμε αÏÏιο
filiaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
για σου
δώσε και κάποια στην ξανθοÏλα
ναι
μην τις κÏατάς κακια
όχι ποτε σε κανÎνα
καληνÏχτα "
Thank You

| | I'm really confused. Why did you cut out the line that says "filiaaaa..."? That certainly does change things, and you're right that it means kisses. Are there any other lines that have been cut? Also, why is it partially in Greek letters and partially in Latin? |
| | 29 December 2010 07:20 |
| | I cuted what I know the meaning....like "filia"...
Of course transliteration didn't work on
filiaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa....probably will be like this:
"
Î±Ï†Î¿Ï Î¼Îµ ξÎÏεις ότι δεν είμαι καθόλου κλαψιάÏης κι koimamamai σαν πουλάκι
Îστω και με μια μικÏή γεÏση πικÏίας
Îνα πικÏÏŒ gam..... γιατί
άντε κοιμήσου πολυλογά
τα λÎμε αÏÏιο
φιλιααααααααααααααααααααααααα
για σου
δώσε και κάποια στην ξανθοÏλα
ναι
μην τις κÏατάς κακια
όχι ποτε σε κανÎνα
καληνÏχτα "
The same way I know καληνÏχτα is goodnight I also know that φιλια means kisses....so I didn't need translation on that and I cut it..
Tks

| | Dani, when you are submitting a text for translation, you should not cut pieces of it off, as the translator may miss the meaning of the next part (as I did) because there is something missing.
Lilian, can you please edit the original such that the word "φιλιάααααααα" forms a line between these two:
τα λÎμε αÏÏιο
δώσε και κάποια στην ξανθοÏλα
... so that it becomes like this:
τα λÎμε αÏÏιο
φιλιάααααααα
δώσε και κάποια στην ξανθοÏλα
... and then we will need to edit the translation so that the word "kissesssss" comes in between these two lines:
We'll talk tomorrow
Give some of them to the blonde girl
Thank you!

| | Looks good, Lilian. I think you can accept it. |
