Sí, tienes razón, sin contexto es difícil elegir una alternativa, pero tratándose de una expresión de ánimo (como el puente dice) para mí, lo más natural sería:

"Ahora (sí) las cosas están ocurriendo" (empezaron a funcionar, o algo así)
