Hi kfeto,

"May God give strength to endure to the family and loved ones...My condolences "

"to endure" in the sense of "bear" needs an object. I think in this case it could be "the loss"

So the sentence would read:
"May God give the family and loved ones the strength to endure the loss...My condolences "

What do you think?

hi lilian,

well the problem is its not stated what they need to endure, loss is probably correct but luckily:-)no need to guess.
endure can be used as an intransitive(no need for object) verb as well:

Yes, kfeto, it can be used as an intransitive verb, but in this case it usually means "last" not "bear".

Anyway, even using it as intransitive, the syntax has to change. Do you agree?

Great!

I think you should correct the remarks

"no to violence" is the slogan of an anti-violence domestic campaign in Turkey.
