| | Lilly, can I ask you a bridge here for evaluation, please. |

| goncinNumber of messages: 3706 | Due to a lack of pronons, it can be read "(S/he) shines wherever (s/he) may be" as well, and my translation is based on this interpretation. |

| | Is it an imperative, dear Lilly? |
| | 17 November 2009 17:21 |
| | My bridge was into imperative.
However Goncin made his point, it may also be simple present (3rd person singular) with a missing pronoun.
I think it's imperative (lacking the exclamation mark), but we'd better ask the requester.
@ powrodrigues, esta frase é imperativa? Se for, teria que ter um exclamação no final.
"Brilhe onde (você) estiver!" |

| goncinNumber of messages: 3706 | To be imperative, this phrase should be one out of these two forms:
1) "Brilhe onde estiver"; (more common) or
2) "Brilha onde estiveres" (less common, but still correct).
Because of that, I can only suppose a 3rd person personal pronoun: "(Ele/a) brilha onde estiver", whose translation I've done above. |

| | powrodrigues, could you take a stand on the issue we discussed above? |

| | powrodrigues, why did you ignore our question? |
| | 7 December 2009 12:17 |
| | ??? Lilly, what can we do now? |
| | 7 December 2009 12:39 |
| | You can validate the translation the way it is: "Shines wherever (he/she/it) is" |

| | Thank you, Lilly.
So, I can accept goncin's translation now, because it is perfect. |
