I'm not sure if "correctness" is the right word here - maybe "honesty" or "rectitude"? Also, should it be "for my partner"?

On second thought,honesty would really apply better. As to the partner part, I believe it should stay the way it is as it isn't defined to a specific partner, more like to everyone who would answer to the ad.

If you say "the people", it's referring to specific people, which it isn't in this case. The same thing is true of the other places where I took it out.
