Legutolsó üzenet | | | | | 16 Szeptember 2009 21:48 | | | Hi hazal,
For the first line I'd say: "Small persons talk about people" (just to avoid repetition)
What do you mean by "medium persons"? Average? | | | 17 Szeptember 2009 01:19 | | | Yes average better. ''Small minded people talk about individuals, Average people talk about incidents. High-minded (intellectual) people talk about ideas.''
| | | 17 Szeptember 2009 12:34 | | | Hi Lilian,
We could replace the second ''persons'' with ''people'', you're right.
I chose ''medium'' for ''orta'', it means ''moyen/ne'' in French. I don't know if ''average'' would sound better... | | | 17 Szeptember 2009 12:41 | | | Yes, I think 'average' is the best choice. I'll make those edits and set a poll, OK? | | | 17 Szeptember 2009 12:42 | | | Ok, thank you. | | | 19 Szeptember 2009 12:30 | | | Persons ?=? I can't use any ''persons''. As childs, sheeps, milks, waters... | | | 17 Szeptember 2009 13:16 | | | What do you mean?
Why can't you use "persons"?
"person" has two plural forms: people/persons | | | 17 Szeptember 2009 14:26 | | | small people talk about bod average people about events but great people about opinions... | | | 18 Szeptember 2009 23:31 | | | "Small persons" means hier "the people who know nothing." |
